Need some tips on editing your own work? Marthy W. Johnson, owner of Copyediting Services will provide some insight and tips for editing your own work.
Marthy is a freelance copy editor and writing instructor. She has authored a desk reference, Write & Wrong, which she describes as “a sort of Chicago Manual of Style for Dummies.” With degrees in both English and German, Marthy also works as an occasional translator. She has composed and taught writing workshops for the Department of the Interior, the Municipality of Anchorage through UAA, and for private companies. As the owner of Copyediting Services, she edits academic, commercial, and technical manuscripts as well as articles and fiction.
